One-Punch Man Season 3 Is Set to Continue (In 2027)
Without a doubt the most surprising revelation, the much-discussed disaster that was season 3 of One-Punch Man wasn't enough to halt further production. Season 3 will be back with a subsequent part in 2027—so far away they might as well have called it season 4. Even more shocking, the studio J.C. Staff will continue to be leading the project. On a positive note this time, helmer Shinpei Nagai is attached to direct from the beginning, which might be a positive development. Yet, the promotional image for the continuation is the same image the one used for season 3, just with protagonists Saitama and Garou looking opposite ways. This leads one to believe that, by now, they are probably mocking the fans.
Ruri Dragon Is Poised to Be the First Shonen Jump Anime By Kyoto Animation
Kyoto Animation has established a reputation for being an top-tier animation studio, setting itself apart not just for the high caliber of its output but for the good working conditions of its employees—a uncommon practice in the industry. Surprisingly, until now, it had not produced an anime based on a manga serialized in Shonen Jump, perhaps the most famous magazine in the business. Ruri Dragon will end that streak, and what a great choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo became a huge following when it first appeared in 2022 after just a small number of issues, but then went into a extended pause due to the mangaka's health issues. When it came back with a more relaxed pace, the series demonstrated it hadn't lost the fans' appreciation and positive sentiment, and now everyone is overjoyed about the impending KyoAni adaptation.
The Kingdom Series Season 6 Will Get a Sequel Now in the Works
Kingdom is the highly popular, epic Shueisha manga that is other than One Piece. If you've are unfamiliar with it before, it's because it only just received an English translation, but the anime has been going on for a while, and season 6 was another excellent entry. It turns out that was just the first half, because a "sequel" has been confirmed as in production, and it will probably air in 2026.
Science Saru Is Adapting A Witch in Mongolia To Anime
One more studio famous for the superior craftsmanship of its work, Science Saru has brought us hit shows of the caliber of Space Dandy, Devilman Crybaby, and, lastly, Dandadan. This time, the studio will be handling the adaptation of Tomato Soup's manga A Witch's Life in Mongol, based on the real historical figure of Fatima, an prominent woman and intellectual in the Mongol Empire in the 13th century. Judging from the trailer, the anime titled Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia will have a truly original and captivating visual style, which evokes Ranking of Kings. Set to premiere in July 2026, this one will definitely be on my watchlist.
