Rice's Recent Legal Issues
Rice missed the initial part of this NFL campaign following an league-mandated ban for his role in instigating a crash on a Dallas highway that resulted in multiple people hurt. Rice was given a month of incarceration and five years’ probation after pleading guilty to serious offenses.
On the field, Rice finished the season with 53 catches for 571 receiving yards and five touchdowns as the Kansas City finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first occasion in a ten-year span.
