Liverpool's Star Extends Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward apologised to the entire Liverpool squad following the controversy from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to voicing frustrations and claiming his connection to the head coach had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has refused to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I get that there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
Their results have remained strong in the games following the initial controversy. He feels the forward's comments were never meant to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, performing and starting to win games.”
